Roles

MyFutsalLeague.com allows a league to assign roles to different people, thereby delegating responsibility within your organization. Each role has a set of powers associated with it. The titles used for each role can be changed by the League Administrator to suit your league's terminology when adding officers to the database.

The League Administrator has the power to do pretty much everything in the system. However, the primary responsibilities are setting up seasons and competitions, assigning roles, entering league officers, and answering basic questions about MyFutsalLeague.com from people in your league.

The Match Secretary has scheduling powers, which includes adding teams into the league, creating divisions, adding teams into those divisions, and making the schedules. The Match Secretary can also change the schedule, report game results, add courts, enter practice assignments, and edit user information.

The Division Match Secretary can add teams to the divisions, make and edit schedules, and report game results; these functions only apply to divisions over which the division secretary has responsibility. The View League page displays the divisions in the officers list under each Division Secretary's name.

The Results Secretary can report game results for games in divisions to which s/he is assigned.

The Referee Coordinator adds referees to the league's list of referees, assigns referees to games, and manages league referee settings.

The Referee Assignor can add referees, assigns referees to games, and view Games Refereed.

The Court Coordinator can add and edit courts, view court usage, and enter practice assignments.

The Court Referee Coordinator can make referee assignments only on courts to which they have been assigned by the League Administrator or the Court Coordinator.

The Club Rep can add teams from their club to the league (and assign team contacts), Manage the Practice Court Schedule, Edit Users, view the Affiliated Referee Report, and send email.

Team Officials can edit team information, enter game results for the team, grade referees, and schedule practice games.

The Treasurer can export referee payment information and send email.

The League President can view: 1. Affiliated Referee Report, 2. Game Reports, Practice Court Assignments, Affiliated Teams Table, and Court Usage. The League president can also send email.

Other League Officers can send email.

There is considerable flexibility with MyFutsalLeague.com to further delegate tasks. For example, if a league wants to assign someone to be a Tournament Coordinator to schedule tournaments, then the person can be assigned the Match Secretary role with the title of Tournament Coordinator.
